Mary Pham is a Vietnamese-American multidisciplinary artist from Durham, North Carolina, whose work translates fleeting everyday moments into encounters of memory and belonging. Working across painting, photography, and printmaking, her practice weaves nostalgia, memory, and vibrant color.
Mary often paints en plein air in gouache, capturing ephemeral light and atmosphere. Photography and sequential composition inform her storytelling, blending the language of cinematography with intimate glimpses of daily life. Her printmaking practice layers textures and imagery that echo the accumulation of memory.
Through her work, Mary invites viewers to reconnect with the small moments that shape personal and collective memory.
She earned her BFA in Painting from UNC Greensboro. Her work has been exhibited with Gallery Nucleus Portland, The Animation Guild, Eno Mills Gallery, and The Bean Flower.
